We don't currently have such functionality but to develop this, you probably would need to just create a page app to send sms (with a 3rd party sms provider) whenever a new post is posted.

You can send an email through sms text and vice versa. I'd figure out how to use that. ?

Not sure if I understand you here Jon. It's not possible to send SMS from EasySocial.

Hey Mark. If you put an email address as the recipient of an sms, it will send the email address an email. And then you can reply back to the sms from your email and the phone will get the message. I'm thinking if you email subscribe to a thread and enter your phone"s email address, it should theoretically send an sms instead of an email.

Ah, I see. I guess this thread is about having the ability to notify group members via SMS whenever a user posts an update in a group.

Can't you set the notification preferences for groups to email instead of internal? Or both?

Hm, it can be both but I don't think many users uses e-mails to sms.
