Please look at the following Smart Search on my web site: https://www.drcarney.com/search?q=krill

I think you will find that the urls for the discussion forum are all broken. they are missing the / after .com.

For example: the url:
https://www.drcarney.comtalk/1428-krill-oil-for-thinning-hair-due-to-the-effects-of-menopause#reply-1429
should be
https://www.drcarney.com/talk/1428-krill-oil-for-thinning-hair-due-to-the-effects-of-menopause#reply-1429
Hello Sean,

I have checked the page that you mentioned and all Easydiscuss URL is non-sef http://take.ms/yNaEK . Did you modify anything on your site? If I go to single discussion view, the URL seems correct: http://take.ms/137zp . Does the missing '/' issue only happen in search result?

Hello Nick,

I did not modify anything but Mark did. :-) He fixed another ticket which seems to have changed the behavior of the urls for this ticket.

Here is the ticket he 'fixed':

https://stackideas.com/forums/easydiscuss-latest-replies-urls-sometimes-missing-part-of-the-url-path

Anyhow, now the problem I just reported to you is different. The urls have changed. The new URLs resolve but they are not clean SEO urls.

Previously the urls were resolving without the / after .com

Now the urls are resolving without being SEO friendly. Instead they are like component urls.

for example:

when you click on the link in the Smart Search results instead of getting this proper url:

https://www.drcarney.com/talk/1428-krill-oil-for-thinning-hair-due-to-the-effects-of-menopause#reply-1429

The new URL looks like this:

https://www.drcarney.com/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&view=post&id=1428&Itemid=1488#reply-1429

So, the setting that Mark changed seems to fix the one ticket but change the behavior for this ticket. It would be much better if the component urls were not being used.

Thanks, Sean

PS. Sorry for the late reply. We have been crazy busy as work and I couldn't find time to reply.

Hello Sean,

I have checked your site and seems like your Smart Search - EasyDiscuss Discussions is somehow outdated. I have updated the codes in that plugin to use the latest and re-index your Smart Search. Please try again and see if the URL is correct.
