Hi,

Just wondering - I just tried clearing and reindexing my Smart Search (see this ticket) and I still can't find users via the search.

Anything else I should do?

Cheers, David
Hi Raymond,

Yes, as you say, the indexing process doesn't finish. I left it on for over an hour the other day and seemed it didn't finish, ie. still had the Indexer Running message.. and only a couple of the Easyblog articles indexed.

I just ran this command from the command line and it purged and reindexed everything very quickly (public_html\cli directory), in less than 30 seconds or so...

php finder_indexer.php --purge

Hi David,

Can you provide me the following details?

1. Where are you performing the search? url and screenshot of the page would be great(the search on top of the homepage is EB actually search).

2. A sample user to search so that I can cross check with the user listing.

Hi Raymond,

1. I searched in the Easysocial search box, above my profile.

2. I searched for "woody"

I just re-indexed and after leaving the indexer for half and hour, I still had the "Indexer running" dialog showing. None of the Easyblog items were indexed. Also, users were not reindexed.

Hey David,

It appears that EasyBlog only has 3 items indexed and there are no EasySocial users indexed as you mentioned(http://take.ms/BQLi0).

May I know whether the indexing process finishes earlier? It may be possible that there are too many items to index thus the long duration.

Also, may I have permission to help you reindex the search results again?

Hey David,

Thanks for the update and link.

Since you have already purged and reindexed the smart search results, is the issue resolved?
