Smart search and Easy Blog not working properly anymore. It seems the smart search is not picking up the correct URL in Easyblog. Is there a way to adjust this URL in Easyblog or is it somewhere else on my site that's causing this function?

Example:
Site: nsga.com
Blog Post: http://nsga.com/personalbest/spirited-competitor
Type in Search: Spirited Competitor
Get this result: http://nsga.com/health-wellness/2016-04-20-13-52-56/personalbest/spirited-competitor
Hi Jay,

One thing you can try is to clear the smart search index and re-index all the search results. http://take.ms/9dlXX

If it does not work, can you update the provided backend and ftp access as they are not working currently(http://take.ms/vluhh).

Please advice, thanks.

The first option did not work. Stil brings up the incorrect search URL.

I have updated the login details which are now attached to my account. You should be able to get in now that the account has been enabled.

Hey Jay,

When the smart search component index the search results, the urls that are retrieved are actually based on your menu structure(http://take.ms/KLxNa).

As such, I suspect that the smart search indexing is not compatible with the System - Direct Alias plugin's feature which removes the parent alias of the menu item.

For now you can try setting the 'personalbest' menu item as a parent menu item, then reindex the search results and see how it goes(http://take.ms/vfkHA).

Also, you can try consulting the plugin developer as well as they may have a better solution based on your site's menu structure.
