Hi,

I am hoping to use EasyBlog for publication of over 4000 posts on a single site. I've bulk imported all the content and individual items are loading fine. However all features where the entire post list needs to be queried/loaded is running extremely slow. An example of this is the Calendar module which has the "Loading..." message running for minutes before anything happens.

The DB and server are all scaled to load the data and standard Joomla articles seem to be loading fine so that is not the issue.

I've also bulk-changed many of the posts (#4479) to the Archive setting and created an EasyBlog menu item for archive posts. This crashes when I attempt to load the URL.

Is there any known limit in terms of the number of posts before EasyBlog becomes sluggish or has anyone experienced these issues?
Hey Brendan,

Hm, EasyBlog 5.x has an improvement of close to about 400% compared to EasyBlog 3.9. Perhaps we missed some areas based on what you have mentioned here (On the calendar view for instance). Would it be possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to look into this?

What about the loading time for the blog front page and entry view?
