Hello,

The Skype username field does not display the username on my site?

Ah, sorry for that when I tested again, it seems like the browser detected that was insecure link, then I found out the correct secure skype js link here : http://community.skype.com/t5/Other-features/Bad-Security-Certificate-at-www-skypeassets-com/td-p/3007708



// Replace with

.script('https://secure.skypeassets.com/i/scom/js/skype-uri.js')


It should work fine now, can you give it a try now?

I have applied some fix in this file JoomlaFolder\media\com_easysocial\apps\fields\user\skype\themes\default\display_content.js

.script('http://www.skypeassets.com/i/scom/js/skype-uri.js')



// Replace with

.script('https://www.skypeassets.com/i/scom/js/skype-uri.js')


it should work find now.

Please check the attached screenshots. Its still not display Skype username on desktop site and only display on the mobile App?

I'm still looking for be best solution for this, for now when you update your Easysocial next version, you have to backup this file before update.
