My site at jvrprojects.co.uk is refusing to allow the upload of images as it used to. We used to load images as a gallery which worked wonderfully until a couple months back when I updated to joomla 3.4

Can this be sorted without the need to upgrade top easyblog 5 as I don't want to lose all work previously loaded in easyblog.
Hey,

Kindly please add your domain to your license at http://stackideas.com/dashboard . Once that is done, let us know by replying to this thread.

Hi Mark,

This was an old site i did in the beginning with easyblog which was so cool at the time that I now use it exclusively for my own site and now its flopped on the site mentioned in the backend details when I upgraded the joomla core as the site was recently hacked. I have my own site and this one that i did for a friend, been working for ages and I don't want to compromise my own domain just for the sake of an easyblog error on a site i did for a friend. I've been your client for over 3 years now.

Hey Peter,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. This really wouldn't be fair to us eh Our support has been heavily abused and this is a domino effect to our development timeline.

We are shorthanded because more and more users are using our products but are only committed into purchasing a single Pro license. We can't grow either because we do not have sufficient funds to do so. Eventually, all our dev's are answering the support

I hope you understand where we come from Peter. If it may help, write to us at https://crm.stackideas.com and I will discuss with the marketing ladies to see if we can come up with a better coupon just for you since you have been a loyal customer of ours

Hi Mark,
I sure do understand and thank you for the offer. the only thing now is the site is not working and i need to get to a solution as I been working on all last week before asking here for help and it seems this could take days to arrive at a working solution.
I really don't want to update the easyblog component to latest version as I believe he should pay for a subscription to take benefit of latest version (i use it on my community site - saffaevents site hence the ongoing subscription), but i don't know what else to do with this site after just updating joomla, it broke easyblog 3.9.....pulling my hair out and unknown bug on easyblog making me very old, very quickly and putting strain on friendship.

I am not entirely sure how to assist you here Peter. The only way for EasyBlog to work with Joomla 3.x is for your client to upgrade EasyBlog to the latest version. Without the latest version it wouldn't work with the latest Joomla version and PHP 7

Got it - ill ask him to update and take out a subscription - just a question: will the existing blogs be retained in a format that will work with ver 5 - we used a lot of galleries on the blogs so I need to be prepared for any fallout the update may cause.

I would suggest that you request him / her to purchase a subscription and get him / her to reach out to us Also, I would strongly suggest that you add your domain to your license at http://stackideas.com/dashboard
