Hi,

1°When entering credentials in the credentials field, the site layout shrinks and thus the credential field is no more visible and do not see what you are typing.
same known issue for android https://stackoverflow.com/questions/38875256/layout-is-shrinking-when-keyboard-opens-android

2°Could you also correct the fact that in desktop view in firefox the saved credentials from password manager do not show by default in the fields unless you click twice on both fields separately.
I do now have this issue with any other sites and it is not great for users experience in my opinion.

Kind regards,

Matt

It seems that it is showing fine for me here as shown in the screenshot. https://monosnap.com/file/o8zghhxNozy4rbpkpx9sxSXPT97oI3

Can you include your backend and FTP access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so that we can have a better look of it?

It seems that I am able to replicate it on the username field of the toolbar only but the password field is fine with one click.

I will log this into our issue tracker and see if we can do something about it.

Thank you Irwin.

There is a difference between your screenshot and mine for the toolbar position :
Can you please set the toolbar position in the footer and see if you have the same issue as I do?

Kind regards,

Matt

Hi,

Sorry Irwin but I cannot provide ftp access even if I understand it is easier for you.

However the issue happens with protostar template when module is set in the footer position, I'm on a Huawei P20 light by the way.

Could you please try to reproduce the issue this way ?
Step 1 : click on the login Icon and enter some text in the
Step 2 : click on an empty area above the login pop-up
Step 3 : enter some text in the password area
Step 4 : the pop-up has now moved down below the toolbar and the page has shrunk

With my own template, the issue happens directly by selecting any of the fields and I cannot see what I am typing at all as the keyboard covers the pop up field which got below

I've tested my test site, it seems like I am still unable to replicate the issue, you can watch my attached video below.

I did try to click the empty area after entering the username, so the login pop box will minimize then I need to click the log-in icon again, is this the correct step I reproduce?

Perhaps you can consider cloning your site to your staging site without any important data so we can investigate this issue on your site directly?

Also, can you try to update to the latest version of the toolbar module and see if the issue still persists?

Hi Arlex,

Thank you for taking the time to investigate this.

I will make a video of the issue when I find the right app for my phone
and provide access to the demo site back-end as long as you do not need access to db and ftp.

Kind regards,

Yes, it would be good if you can record a video so that I can replicate your exact step.

By the way, can you share with us what mobile browser app you test?

and provide access to the demo site back-end as long as you do not need access to db and ftp.

Unfortunately, we can't provide demo backend access.

Hi,
(yes I updated to the latest version of the toolbar)
(I do not need access to your demo site, it was about my demo site )

You video actually does show the issue :
1°The pop up was on top of the toolbar when you opened it
2°When you clicked on the login field, then the pop up moved below the toolbar

Maybe because you are on a big cellphone, you do not see the issue, but on a huawei p20 light the keyboard covers the pop fields entirely.

I will reopen this ticket as private and join a video if you are ok with that.
