Hello,

After the update now the site is down !!
It seemed to work fine at first but now a syntax error breaks the site
Settings modified:
- Use OpenStreetMap
- YouTube No Cookie

Error:

0
syntax error, unexpected 's' (T_STRING)
Hello,

I wanted to ftp into the site to troubleshoot the cache file but it seems like the FTP access is not working. I have tried to purge the SEF cache, the site is working fine now, https://take.ms/zz9Ig

If the problem still persists, could you provide us with the FTP access?

I believe there are some issues with the translations where it contains certain invalid characters for the url structure and that leads to the errors earlier. If you can provide us with the FTP access, we would be able to identify and troubleshoot this issue

Managed to track down the problem and it seems to be related to sites with a translation that contains the character ' in the SEF urls. Can you download the attached file and upload it into /administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/filecache/ and once that is done, purge the SEF urls, https://take.ms/zz9Ig

Thanks for updating me on this. Another customer seem to encounter the same problem as well and it was due to his translations on the sef url which contains invalid characters like ' .

The fix I provided above should address those problems but the underlying problem is these url's should never contain such characters.

Hi Mark,
I can see 2 urls with the ' in your screenshot.
At the moment none of these urls have been generated on my site

Yes I thought it should come from the component translation ...

Yeah, because the urls are generated on the fly when the page are being accessed. We have already addressed this in 3.1.2 so even if you have an invalid translations for your urls, it will still work fine
