Hello,

I added the option for EasyBlog to display featured selections on the front page. After I did this the front page for blogs has disappeared. The feature articles are showing but the rest of my blog list is gone. I don't know if it is an article that is doing this or what happened.

Could someone please take a look and see if it something that could be fixed. Plus I have also been receiving 500 Internal Server errors. Thank you.

Regards,
Rob
Hello Rob,

I am not entirely sure what you are trying to achieve on your front page of the site. It looks like the component area is placed in the footer of the site. Can you please elaborate more on this please?

Hello Mark,

The site looked fine until a few minutes ago. The articles were listed under the feature articles and then I refreshed the page and the blogs under neath the feature articles disappeared. It should be showing like a list.

It happened twice today.

So I don't know if an article that is being feed in did it or if it is the featured listings on frontpage. But the frontpage showed all articles in a nice format until 20 minutes ago.

Thanks Mark for taking a look. Hope this helps you.

The side modules are also gone. I just unpublished them to see if that helps.

Nope didn't help. I unpublished the featured articles also and that didn't help either.

Even though I unpublished the feature articles they are still showing. Forget that it just went away - the frontpage is showing the blogger icon but not the blogs.

Any news on this one?

The website reported this:

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Hello,

I backed up the site and rolled out a new image that I had backed up - the site looks like it should. If this happens again I will contact you.

Thanks Arlex a Great Merry Christmas to you too.

The only thing is that I get 500 Internal Server issues every now and it really isn't fixed. If you go to the following page you will see what the layout is suppose to look like:

http://www.techlick.com/index.php/techweb/techlick2?start=20

and then go to this page you will notice the break that I was reporting:

http://www.techlick.com/index.php/techweb/techlick2?start=30

So it really hasn't gone away it is just buried in the pages. If anyone can figure out what is breaking it I would appreciate that.

Hello Rob,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply, I am not really feeling very well for the past couple of days Down with a bad fever and flu . I tried to access your page at http://www.techlick.com/index.php/techweb/techlick2?start=30 but I don't seem to hit any error there. Perhaps there could be a problematic blog post which does not have proper closing html tags?

That is because my site keeps moving the feed articles and new pages are created. See image when you have time. It is now page http://www.techlick.com/index.php/techweb/techlick2?start=70

Thank you again - I am thinking it is a bad article that came in.

I would like to get rid of that bad page but it keeps moving.

It is actually this page now:

http://www.techlick.com/index.php/techweb/techlick2?start=150

Look at the URL at the end it says start=150 maybe tomorrow it might be start=160 or start=170

This is because my site keeps loading articles and creating new start pages

Thank you for your reply and Merry Christmas!

Hello Rob,

I had look through your post one by one and found that the article "Oppo N1" had unexpected HTML characters in it. It took me longer then I expected to find your issue due to your site is running really slow.
Hope it works now

Thanks:)
