Hi,
Is there a way to simplify the sign-up form ?
Currently, it's a 4-5 page process which just kills all interest in signing up in our case.
Can we customize this ?
Thanks
Danny
What you can do is to let visible during the registration process only very important fields like: Name, email, then the other fields to be displayed only when people will edit their profile.

You can use thequick register module i.e. to make registration really simple but you need to make all setting as you like to. Go to backend -> easysocial -> profile types -> (select desired profile type -> custom fields.

There you can modify all the stuff from the registration and hide as much as you like from the registration.

Hi Le Freak,

Thanks for the helps!

Danny,

You can follow the suggestion from Le Freak by using mini registration instead of full registration for your site.

Hi,

Thanks for your replies. And sorry about the late return on this ...

When i set the "mini registration" mode on, I still get the full registration form when I use the regular registration button ?

OK...
I figured our what Le Freak was referring to :-)
The form is a bit simpler now, thanks
Is there a way to drop just the "middle name" in the basic step ?
Thanks

You can configure the whole quick registration as you like to at the backend -> components -> easysocial -> profile types -> (select profile type) -> user defined fields.

For making it even simpler you can completely hide the name field and make name like username:
