Lot of us are using ED and EB on the same website and both are complementary,
Actually we show in EB articles the latest discussions module from ED and latest blog entries in ED Discussions
This is helping us to send trafic between the two sources.

We would like to show similar or related discussions (from ED) in EB article based on title or tags
and also in Discussions show similar or related articles from EB.
This is the ideal way as people will find the suuggested content relevant to their interest.
