Hi

Is it possible to entirely disable the sidebar on the Dashboard.?

Thanks
Avinash
Hello Avinash,

I probably think that you have assigned these modules to appear on the "Community" menu and since both the friends and followers doesn't have any menu item to be associated with, it uses the "community" alias. You can create separate menu's for both the friends and followers so that these links would then use the appropriate menu alias.

Hello Avinash,

I am really sorry but unfortunately you can't You can customize this in the theme files if you want to but why do you want to remove the state of the art dashboard looks?

Hi Mark,

Thanks for this! the dashbord looks are really nice but I am looking for different navigation feel!! hence the changes... although making the change has made me realize another problem....

For e.g. Views for search using Easy Social Search (after putting in text and hitting enter) leads you back to the dashbord. How do I make it go on to a completely new page and not the dashboard? I am using only the sharebox and feed on the dashbord with modules on either side.... With the default pages being the Dashbord view it gets cramped up!

Can you guide?

Also, filtering is a big challenge in EasySocial. For e.g. fiilter by location proximity and based on certain custom fields.... this would help users in quicly identifying who they would like to be friends with.... your thoughts on this?

Thanks,
Avinash

Hi Mark,

Just a quick question... is it possible to have just the "Share Box" and feed as a separate view in the component? It would allow me to place or design the layout the way I would like it?

Cheers

Hello Avinash,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I am really sorry but unfortunately it's not possible to separate the share box and the feeds currently

By the way, I don't quite get you about the search in EasySocial. What do you mean by redirecting back to the dashboard? Is there any way for me to reproduce this error?

Proximity searching is coming with EasySocial 1.3 We have enhanced the users listing on 1.3 More goodies with 1.4!

Hi Mark,

Firstly, STOP saying sorry for answering 6 hours after a post on a weekend!!! you are spoiling us.... 6 hours after is still awesome by normal standards during work hours

Secondly, if you login on my website (details attached) click on the the menu system on the left for e.g. Followers. What happens is that the toggle gets activated which should not be the case.... it should be a NEW VIEW.... which means the modules I have deployed on the Community Dashboard should not be displayed. Same when one uses EasySocial search on the Community Dashboard. Results are displayed but its not a new views hence the toggle is activated.... which I think is an error as each link should be a new view.... what do you think?

Conversations is a new View but My Friends and My Followers is not.....

ALSO!! Good God talk about building anticipation for EasyBlog 5 and EasySocial 1.3 CAN'T wait!!!! SNEAK PREVIEW FOR ALL OF US ON FEATURES AND DESIGN PLEASEEE

Thanks
Avinash
