https://stackideas.com/forums/sidebar-top-module-positions#reply-431941 , this is actually intended behaviour to show different custom module position in Easysocial different pages, you can take a look of my attached screenshot below.
For example :
User listing page - es-users-sidebar-top
Event listing page - es-events-sidebar-top
Group listing page - es-groups-sidebar-top
User dashboard page - es-dashboard-sidebar-top
By the way, unfortunately that is no easier way to achieve this and so far there is not much user request for to add this in Easysocial.
