Shut Off the Blog Title and Blog Description

How do I shut off the Blog Title and Blog Description? I inserted spaces for the Blog Title. However, spaces do not work for the Blog Description.

I do not need the title and description since it used as part of an intranet which already has the information on each page.
I located this. It in Settings. Thanks.
