Are you referring to displaying archive posts in a layout that is similar to the frontpage/category listing?

Actually the layout of archived posts is supposed to be simple and compact, allowing users to find key posts from the past with ease.

Currently we do not have such layout for archive posts, but feel free to post a feature request for this so we can see how widely requested is this feature.
