Content is being taken from the blog and turned into one long sentence. How can I get the showcase module to recognise truncation settings?

Hi Alex,

If you look at the website (see attached info in first post) you will see that the actual article is laid out on separate lines but in the showcase it is presented as one long line (looks like the paragraphs or line breaks are being removed). I have the text limit set to 350 as per your image above and I also have Truncation type set to "By words" (10) in EasyBlog > Settings > Layout.

Hello,

We purposely remove the line break in the showcase module in order to minimize the content displayed inside the showcase. If you want to truncate the blog intro text with the line break for the showcase module you can download my attachment below and place it inside your /components/com_easyblog/themes/default folder.

Be warned that it might messed up some of the styling layout inside the showcase content and we will not help you to optimize the styling for this customization. Hope you understand
