Showcase Module - Tags/Blogger assignment?

I need to use the showcase module to display articles for a specific blogger but do not see an option to do that. Is there a work around that will allow me to accomplish this? Are there any plans to incorporate blogger id or tag selection into the showcase module. It seems like an addition that would really ramp up the usefulness of that module.

So sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Unfortunately we do not have plans to implement what you are suggesting but I will add this in the request list for review. The only module that have blogger assignment is the Latest Blogs module Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick reply. A couple more questions then...

Using the latest blogs module, is there any way to customize the layout of the module? What file drives the layout?

Is there a way to control aspect ration for resized images? Some images are landscape. some portrait and the way the module resizes them throws them off.

Hello JP,

Sorry for the late reply. The files that control the layout are actually in

JOOMLA/modules/mod_latestsblogs/tmpl/

folder. As for the size of the image you can actually use CSS styling to do it if you want the size to be uniform for that module. Hope this helps.
