Showcase Module not showing

I am trying to use the showcase module but for some reason it doesn't show, also I was trying to use a third party module but same problem. some post are transferred from another site, however, it doesn't show new posts neither.
- tried to reinstall EB with latest launcher
- tried to reinstall the modules
didn't help...
I would really appreciate if someone can take a look and tell me where I went wrong, details attached.

Hi Helal,

I've applied the fix inside your /modules/mod_easyblogshowcase/helper.php and the showcase is showing correctly now.

I do have a similar problem with a third party module, could that be related?

May I know if this is related with easyblog components? If yes kindly start a new thread so it will be easier for us to follow up the issue.

Hi Helal,

There was some issue with showcase module in easyblog 5.0.26 and the fix has already been addressed in easyblog 5.0.27 that will be release later on. If you want us to apply the fix now, kindly provide us with your FTP access so we can help you with the fix.

Hello Ezrul,

I can wait for easyblog 5.0.27 if its a matter of days or one week, if it will take more than 2 weeks I would really appreciate a temporary fix.
I do have a similar problem with a third party module, could that be related?

Thank you very much for your help, regarding the third party module, maybe I should contact their support first, and if it appear to be EB5 issue, I will start a new thread here.
