Hi,

I enable the showcase module for easyblog and it doesnt show
What could be?

Greetings,
Hi there Zetty,

There could be a number of reasons for this, including templates and positioning. In any case, can you share with us your website and its backend superuser access? That will allow us to debug the problem much easier and faster.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Hello Zetty,

Can you provide us your backend and FTP access so we can have a better look on your issue here?

Hey Zetty,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. I was testing the site to see whether or not the showcase module is working with different templates. I've revert back the settings to before I did the testing, so your site should have functionality minus the hiccups you reported to us.

It seems that the gantry template isn't responding well to easyblog module. I will need access again to see if the problem really is from our side or with the template.

Can you provide us with the access again?

Hey there Zetty,

I have solved the issue. It turns out the reason why the showcase didn't appear is because the posts that it is supposed to show was password protected as shown here http://screencast.com/t/gsoEK5n7F6h

The showcase module considered that protected posts (even if it is set to public) are not to be viewable to the public through the module.

I hope this helps

If you want the post to show up, you cannot put passwords on it. The password setting is on the composer as shown here http://screencast.com/t/gsoEK5n7F6h Leave it blank if you do not want to secure it.

I believe this is related to your other thread regarding the EasySocial update. Can you reply to that thread and inform the moderator? It will be much organized and easier for us to help you .
