Hi,

I was wondering how I can show the publication date on the frontend of a blog. My client writes sometimes some blogs ahead, and sets a publication date when the blog post should become visible on the frontend. But the posts are dated with the creation date, and not the publication date. Can't find anythiing to change that, did I overlook something? Because I can imagine this will be a feature that is needed by more people than just my client

Thanks a lot.
Hello guys,

I'm sorry. Please use this file instead.

Hello Niqui,

Please replace the attached files in:
../components/com_easyblog/themes/default/blog.meta.php
../components/com_easyblog/themes/default/blog.meta.read.php

If this doesn't work, you can provide us your backend and FTP so we can directly modify your file.

your feature sounds very interesting!

@Nik
does your changes now show the publication date (instead of creation date) for already puplished posts? and does it also apply on EB Module Date?

Hello Rene,

Yes, it will show publication date. And it does not affect the module.

Works perfectly!
Thanks for the support. Maybe add this as an option in the settings in the feature?
