I remember customers have shared with us one of the 3rd party extensions already developed this similar feature.

Yes it would be very interesting to be able to display a Listings results on a Google Map or OpenStreetMap Cart
For Events, Pages and MarketPlace items.

I actually like this idea but I can foresee, 9/10 customers are going to have problems with such layouts. Primarily because of template / module conflicts. Therefore I do not think this is ideal, unless we build this on our own template.

The demand for a map view for events and pages comes here again and again. Unfortunately, according to JED, Geocommunity has not been updated for four years. The developer seems to have completely lost interest. There are no OSM maps and no version for Joomla 4. The last version is for joomla 3 and the description says "ES2.0 Ready!"…

Would be a nice start to have kind of this module for pages and events too.

Totaly agree and make sens to have maps for events rather then blog posts

I have been using Geomunnity maps for EasySocial, and since Joomla 4 update, the pins aren’t appearing on the map. Like you said, it only says it is compatible with J3 and I have let my membership lapse because of this.

It did work, pinning each of the events on the map, clustering them, where necessary.

I’ll head over and vote for the feature 😊
