Seems rather unfair that because I already have had a subscription to a product that I am not entitled to get the halloween discount. Rather disappointing...;(

Sorry but not really sure if I get you here. Which product are you referring to here? Are you trying to renew your existing product? There should already be a coupon code for you in your email if your product is nearing the expiry date.
