HI there! We searched nearly everywhere but could not find out, why our blog creates permanentlink like this: https://m-aia.de/easyblog/neues-jahrzehnt-neue-maia-webseite that contain /easyblog/ - this makes it just longer as it is yet... Where can this be switched off?
I already help you created a hidden menu item for Easyblog frontpage, alias called blogs.

Unfortunately that is not possible to use 'news' for your blog alias is because your news menu item page already used 'news' alias.

Just for your information what I did on your site just now :

1. Create a hidden menu item for Easyblog frontpage

2. Temporary disable your site global configuration cache system and your plugin "system - page cache".

3. Purge your SEF URL from your Sh404SEF extension

4. Then access your site homepage and view on the news page, it will regenerate the SEF URL on the site.

Can you give it a check is this the one you like to achieve?

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

It is possible to remove that, but we need to take a look of your current menu structure, I suspect your existing menu item alias have called Easyblog.

If you already double check there do not have any menu item call Easyblog, then I suspect you have install those 3rd party SEF extension e.g. Sh404sef, then you need to purge the SEF URLs first then let it regenerate those SEF URL on the site.

If you didn't install any 3rd party SEF extension, perhaps you can update your site backend and FTP access at https://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?

By the way, we are also having problems with the appearing of "easyblog" in the addressline of every blogitem. Our admin told us, that this can not be changed, because we implemented the blog with modules on a SPPB-page and not connected the component via menu directly. The only solution would be to redirect every single item via sh404.
Isn't there a more "normal" way just to get rid of the extra in our address?

Actually I am not sure about SPPB-page, but if you allow me to try, I will create a hidden menu item for Easyblog blog listing menu, then purge your SH404sef extension SEF URL then let it regenerate it and see whether it generate that blog URL correctly or not.

But before i do that, you must do the full backup first.

if it does not produce duplicate content.... sounds great. Would be very thankful if you could do that - backup is done.
