When social sharing an existing post from EasySocial -> Facebook, the info doesn't follow
Please see attached screenshot

Hey Danny,

What I did is turn off the lock down mode from backend > Easysocial > settings > general > lock down mode - NO (You can refer on my attached screenshot below) as my colleague already mentioned at above.

After that copy that stream URL into Facebook debugger tool and click on `Debug` button, When you reach inside the debugger result page, you have to press "Scrape Again" button until Facebook retrieve correct content and image from your stream item.

Hello Danny,

Sorry for the delay of this reply.

This is because you have enabled lockdown mode in Easysocial settings, if you enable this, Facebook unable to crawl all of your Easysocial stream content/image, because they do not have login access in your site.

To fix this, you have to disable "Lockdown mode" from backend > Easysocial > settings > general .
p/s : http://screencast.com/t/lX7eru22NM2

Then go to Facebook debugger tool -> https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ clear your stream URL cache. You have to "Scrape Again" until your desired content appeared as shown in this link http://screencast.com/t/guI1epq5pf7

Hope this help

Hi

Thanks for the reply but this happens whether I have lock-down on or off.

You can head on out to http://decopatio.ca/mondecopatio-login now and see the stream is there without being logged-in. Even after a cache flush/refresh and a Facebook dev debug session, I get the same empty results once i try to share it.

Hi,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Hey Danny,

I've temporary turn off this `lock down` mode from your backend, can you try click share again on your same stream? It should show out correctly the image and content.
