Hi

Hope your all well, it's been a while since I have been in touch.

Can i please ask, when my users post new items, how can I set it so they are posting to everyone by default?

Secondly, why when I post something to my facebook page, (from within facebook), does it end up showing a brief to this in Easysocial?

Please let me know if there is any more info you need.

Thanks very much
Hi Alex,

It seems like this is additional features by JFBConnect itself. Take a look at your backend > fbconnect > profiles > easysocial > profile import, http://screencast.com/t/w9ONlhM91aqj where it will always import the data from facebook everytime you logged in into easysocial.

Hope these can clear up the confusion here.

Hey Alex,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. The default privacy status is inherited from the profile type's privacy. You can change it by editing the profile type at the back end of EasySocial. Then, click on the Privacy tab to set a default value.

To reset existing user's privacy, remember to check the option "Tick the checkbox to reset all user's default privacy under this profile.".

As for your Facebook page, unfortunately EasySocial doesn't import these messages to your site currently.

Hi

Thanks for getting back to me, the messages coming from Facebook are as the screen shots attached.

So I post something on Facebook normally with a photo or video, then just the text is shared on my easy social page.

Is my easy social page somehow linked to my facebook page?

Thanks

Hi Alex,

If I'm not wrong easysocial does not have this kind feature where it will fetch a content from facebook and post into your easysocial. Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can test this directly? If possible kindly provide us with your Facebook access as well.
