Sharing link doesn't appear in stream

I shared a link on the stream but it doesn't appear in the stream. Only in my profile. What am I missing?

Hello JH,

It's actually configured this way so that the latest "updated" items gets ordered first. You can configure this in the stream settings but I believe there's a bug in 1.2.14 and it prevents the settings from being respected (a typo) but this will be addressed on 1.2.15

Hello JH,

Sorry but I am a little lost here. When you share a link, you mentioned that it appears in your profile and not on your stream? I am not really sure if I get you here but on the profile it's also displaying the activity stream as well.

Sorry... the post did appear on the stream but for some reason it was bumped way down. I have stream settings set to "Items sorting: New creation date." But still, if an item is "liked" it gets pushed to the top of the stream which bumps new items down. Is it possible to simply display feed items in chronological order?
