I have created multiple user profiles and would like to share a drop down list across those user profiles, so I only have to add values once and not across every profile each time I edit. How do I do this?

One method is to create 1 workflow and use it across multiple profile types. You can also use the Save as Copy option in the workfflow to save the workflow as a new one, then keep the dropdown field you want and modify the others.
