Social sharing an Event on Facebook uses the default site logo instead of the avatar/event pic.
FB Debug Console says: "pic was not valid because it did not meet the minimum size constraint of 200px by 200px."
But it is more than that.
And also says that "event:start_time" is required
But I have a start event date and time published on the event at my site.

Any suggestion?

Event URL: https://www.wallcities.com/index.php/eventi/56-guns-n-roses
ES 2.0.6

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

It seems like Facebook required image size 200px by 200px, I will discuss with our developer regarding whether we can switch to show event cover.

By the way, try download my attached file and replace into JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/cluster/cluster.php then purge the cache from the Facebook debugger tool and see how it goes.

You're welcome.

Actually I didn't see this warning when I paste your event URL into Facebook debugger tools, you can check my attached screenshot below.

Hi Arlex,
just check this event please: https://www.wallcities.com/index.php/eventi/9-compleanno-di-mamma-rosa; as you can see on first screenshot, a friend shared an event on FB and it's also included the event's date.
But in this case (and on all the others events I have published and shared on FB) I did not see the date of the event on FB and I still get the error. -> "event:start_time" is required

Looks like the event's start time is not recognized by FB.
FYI - I still have some overrides to have date/time set to italian format ( you have suggested me to do that) and I have noticed that all these overrides are still required by ES 2.0.6: If I remove them I get the wrong date/time Eng format.
Is maybe this the problem?

Any suggestion?

Thanks took your time explanation again Joe

I can see that warning now, it might be Facebook detected when you share that item from your site is an event item, so it show this warning "event:start_time" is required when you scrape the cache from the Facebook debugger tool.

Actually these warning will not causing other issue, i believe when we included these event:start time og tag, it will properly show this -> http://take.ms/PVetB .

Currently we do not have include these `event:start_time` opengraph in Easysocial event page, we will see if we can include these Facebook og required tag for event in the future release version.
