Hi guys,
Sorry to ask (I know how busy you are), but hope to change the facebook social posting settings.

When I post a URL to my site, and select "only me" setting (with the padlock), this shouldnt post to social media sites, like facebook as I only want it to be a private post for me.

Will this eventually change?

Regards.
Hello Ryan,

Hm, yeah you are right. I think it makes sense that if the privacy is set to "Only Me", it shouldn't be posted to Facebook.

Thanks!

I know how much work you guys are putting into support and this app.

If you have a minute, I'd appreciate any pointers in the right direction as I'd like to make my own "post - to - social - update" plug in , say for twitter etc. I guess I'll download your sample developer app and start playing

Keep up the great work.

Hello Ryan,

You first need to create your own Twitter authentication layer so that it stores the user access tokens on the site. Once you have those tokens, you can refer to the Facebook app on how you could automatically publish posts on Twitter.
