When I try to share a blog post to google + the picture that shows up in google + is NOT the same picture that was selected when I performed the share operation.

When I share a second time - this time using the arrow to select the picture, the first paragraph text is dropped from the shared post.

I can't seem to get the first picture of the post along with the intro text to the post to show up as a result in a google+ share.

Can you tell me what's going on, or is this a bug?

Hello Gordon,

The pictures are being picked by Google's crawler and they actually will try to find these images based on a couple of meta tags on the site. Firstly, did you use a blog image for your blog post? I believe Google's crawler would probably search for opengraph tags (Facebook style). If you have used a blog image, EasyBlog will actually add an opengraph tag on the page header to let crawler's know the primary image for the particular page.
