In an other post Raymond replied he added the following to the issue tracker but I do not see any improvement...

The inline map height is ridiculously small !
Because the map only displays on click but can also be hidden on click, you should at least make make it 50% bigger in height or double the height of the map...

I forgot to mention the popup map does show, only a broken link icon and white background is displayed in the box.
Maybe this happens only after the setting is change in the administration -I did not test this issue fully...

Hmm, based on what I read in the issue tracker, we did increase the map height, perhaps you can share with me which part is still showing a small map if compare to Easysocial 3.x?

The map is not loading on ES3 test site but look at the difference in the map height.

On the left ES4, the height is too small !
When dragging the map and using the zoom in/out it is very difficult to understand the location because there is not enough height.

If the map could display the (at least) same height as showned in ES3 , that would be a huge improvement...

EDIT:
You have to zoom in to see the street names but then you can not see the sourroundings and locate anything.
I know the feature is not meant to replace Google Maps, but please increase the height ...

From what I read through that issued ticket, we actually did increase the map preview height from the stream item (screenshot: https://monosnap.com/file/C8oCBSZjHVXnVGPCKnIydQZnWVWBWv ) but we can't increase more is because it will make the stream item the overall height will getting higher if the stream item contains the video player or album photos (screenshot: https://monosnap.com/file/Zgmn45DItGJEXkM1TYNZDIKQJxseHL ) so we reduced the height for the map preview.

Hmm, if you would like to increase the map preview height, I would like to suggest that you can apply the following custom CSS to increase the map preview height.

Map is a collapsable field !!!
The map open and closes on click...
Therefore I (personal opinion) do not validate the dev's argument .
