Hello guys,

Google News is requiring you add a 3 digit code to the end of the url randomly generated to make sure the url is unique.

Do you know of a method with SH404 and easyblog which this can be achieved?

Many thanks
Hello Stephan,

I'm not sure if SH404 has this feature or not. But it is not possible in Easyblog.

Hello Nick,

Thanks for getting back to me. I've looked into SH404 and they do support it, but it appears easyblog needs an SH404 plugin which allows customizations? For example, If you configured by component in SH404 you can select Joomla! and apply a unique ID to articles...

This is needed for GoogleNews, any way to achieve this? Do you have an SH404 plugin?

Thanks
Tony

Hello Stephan,

I'm sorry but we don't have the plugin for it. However, I've consulted with the developer, you can actually customize the code to have the random numbers in your URL. Please replace the attached file in: ../components/com_easyblog/sef_ext/com_easyblog.php. Please give it a try.
