Hello Stackideas Team,

I would like to use quick joomla registeration for easy social signups instead of Easysocial Registration.
Where can I set login & register menu links redirections on tool bar please ?
I attached a screenshot for you.

Thanks.
Thanks Arlex, its working now :-)

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

This is the step how to achieve this :

1. Open this file JoomlaFolder/templates/office/html/mod_easysocial_dropdown_menu/default.php
2. Modify this following code :

[gist type="php"]
// LINE 138
<a class="btn btn-link" href="<?php echo ESR::login(array(), false); ?>">

//Replace with
<a class="btn btn-link" href="<?php echo JRoute::_('index.php?option=com_users&view=login'); ?>">

[/gist]

[gist type="php"]
// LINE 143
<a href="<?php echo ESR::registration(); ?>" class="btn btn-link btn-sm">

// Replace with
<a href="<?php echo JRoute::_('index.php?option=com_users&view=registration'); ?>" class="btn btn-link btn-sm">
[/gist]

3. Make sure you have turn off this setting Enable com_users Redirection from your site backend > plugin > system - Easysocial

Once you modify this file JoomlaFolder/templates/office/html/mod_easysocial_dropdown_menu/default.php, you have to do the backup before you update Office new version in the future.

Hello Alex,

Thanks for your detailed answer.
Is it possible to do it without touching codes ?
I mean could I change with only Joomla backend, menus, modules or plugins to do that ?

Thanks.

Hey Mert,

Unfortunately it requires a hack to achieve this because EasySocial has it's own sign up page.

It seems like my previous code automatically added that extra / in earlier, I already correct this from my reply and your file.

Can you try download my attached file and replace into that file location and see how it goes?

Hello Arlex,

Thanks for your quick reply.
I replaced your file now both login/register links redirect to : https://www.paysbit.com/login
I also tried to completely disable "system-easysocial" plugin from backend.
I attached a screenshot for you.

Thanks.

Yes, this is actually the Joomla login page, but i realised when i click on register link, it always redirect to the login page.

I suspect you didn't enable allow user registration setting from your backend, try go to your backend > users > manage > click on option button > Allow User Registration - YES

You can check my attached screenshot below.

Hope this will help.
