Hello Adrian,

will it be available in the next releases?

We do not have any future plan to make the notes application privacy settings currently. Perhaps you can post your request in our easysocial voice page here, http://stackideas.com/voices/easysocial so that other people can vote for it.

What about the calendar? can I set it to private?

Yes you can. You can find the setting from your easysocial frontend > privacy settings, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-05-14_1115.png > applications > calendar items, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-05-14_1111.png . Hope these help

Hello guys! Any news on this?

Do you have any other apps on EasySocial that can work for the users so they can write whatever they want but can be set to private?

Thank you!

Hey Adrian,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Unfortunately we do not have any similar this app available in current system.

Perhaps you check my following attached screenshot suggestion and see your client is it okay with it?

So when you click back your own filter, these stream will appear on your own filter dashboard once you set each stream privacy to "Only Me".

I know what you mean, and thanks for the alternative but is not what I´m looking for, I was looking for something more simple, just like the notes section but that could be private, so no worries.

By the way I setted the calendary to private as you told me on the privacy settings to "only me" but I still can see other users calendary.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Hi Adrian,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

The stream filter will also show other user stream that are using similar hashtag as your stream. However other user will not be able to see your private stream as my colleague suggested above. If you do not want to see other people stream, you need to create a unique filter that other user will not use.

Hope these can clarify the issue that you have here.

Thanks once again Ezrul, still not what I´m looking for, but don´t worry about that and thank you for your effort.

I´m still worried about the other thing I commented above: I setted the calendary to private as you told me on the privacy settings to "only me" but I still can see other users calendary.

Can you tell me how to do it?

Hey Adrian,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

I´m still worried about the other thing I commented above: I setted the calendary to private as you told me on the privacy settings to "only me" but I still can see other users calendary.

Do you mean that you can see other user's calendar item when you set the privacy to "only me" or other user are able to see your calendar item with the privacy settings above? By right, other user will not able to see the calendar item of yours if you have set the privacy to "only me".

However you can still able to see other user calendar item since they might have set their privacy as "everyone" by default unless they have set the same options as yours.

Hope I am clear enough with the explanation above.

Ok Ezrul!

I´m sorry I have been saying it the wrong way all along.... What I want and what I think I did on the backend is to set to private as default the calendary, that´s what I really want so every new users has it private when he joins the site.

Hi Adrian,

Ah I see. You need to click on the checkbox as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/NGCKwNboyIs so that it will reset all of user's privacy under the profile types that you select. Please give it a try.

Ezrul I did what you told me and I still can see other user´s calendary, in the screen you gave me I setted the calendar privacy settings to only me and ticked the box but nothing seems to happen.
