Hello,
I see in the themes -> default -> blog images area I can set the image size for modules. I'd like to set 1 size image for the sidebar position and then a larger size image in the template areas below the mainbody area and above the footer area. Can you please explain to me how to assign a different size image to modules located in a different area of my template?

Also, in the module for "most popular post", there are image and video settings. What do these settings apply to since they do not override the settings located in the theme area as shown above.?

Thanks.
Hello Joe,

I'm sorry, it is not possible. the size in themes>blog images is for generating different size of image in your folder. Even, you have set 2 different size for module, the module will only call the default module size.

Here is the example, let say you have set to have module (default) and module-2. Easyblog will generate two image (image_module and image_module-2). But your module will only use image_module.

The settings in Themes>Blog Images is used when the user upload an image. Easyblog will get the value from this settings to generate different size of image. Then the settings in the module is to set the maximum size of the image appeared. For example in the Themes setting, you have set to 400x400 but in module, you set to 250x250. The module will use the 250x250. Hope this helps.

So the module setting for image size will always override the image size setting for module (default) in the themes -> blog section?

If this is so, then I could, for example, set the module (default) image size to be something like 300x225 and then if I have a specific module, like most read post, in it's module settings I can give the image size of 450x300 and this will allow that module to display this larger image size?

Hello Joe,

Yes. Module setting for image size will always override the image size setting for module (default) in the themes. Technically what you want is can be done but you can give it a try first and please do update us on this issue.

Hope this will help.
Thanks.
