My provider recommends a server upgrade from 2GB RAM to 4GB RAM
What server performance does EasySocial need from your point of view?
Best wishes
Martin

We have been monitoring your server temporarily for the weekend. This time, we could see that your server needs to freeze and restart because of high CPU consumption. In this case, the monitoring would not solve the problem as it would lead to failures every time the CPU was exhausted. In this case, you have two options:
• Your web technician needs to examine your web page and, if necessary, to optimize the page so that you use less resources.
• Upgrade from 1 vCPU core, 50GB disk, 2GB RAM to 2 vCPU cores, 100GB disk, 4GB RAM
Hello Martin,

You don't really need that much CPU unless your site is very active with a lot of active users concurrently. Can I know:

1. How many users do you have on your site?

2. How many active users do you have on your site on average?

3. Which hosting company are you on?

4. Do you have root access to the server?

I have access to the server. On the WHM server there are two active ES applications social-dienste.ch (snetz.ch) and themindfulness.net (running under the domain instituteformindfulness.org - normal website - as a subdomain)
Active users snetz.ch about 10 of 100 registered users
Active Users themindfulness.net about 2 of 40 users
Hosting company novatrend.ch
I have 4 screenshots taken from a day (January 19) where a peak CPU usage was registered and from a normal day (January 26)

When I checked the site, it seems like you have a lot of plugins installed and I can't really be sure which of this is taking up CPU load. Some of the suspected ones would be JSocialChat and InviteX.

I don't think having 12 concurrent user would require that much of a CPU. What I would suggest is to try turning off some of your 3rd party plugins first and give it a try.
