Within Joomla admin when I try to access any Easyblog section - settings, posts etc. I get Server Error 500.
Also - on our site frontend, anyone looking at our blog heading gets the same message.

Hello Eoin,

Can you provide the URL to your Admin page. I've tried with http://www.yoursite.com/administrator but it redirects me to the homepage. And you might want to provide us your FTP access as well.

Hello Eoin,

I've checked your site and found that there is a permission issue for this file: administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/info/info.php. Can you provide us your FTP access so we can further investigate this issue?

You can edit the Question at the top to provide any access.

By the way, please remember to assign your domain to your license to obtain for support in the future. You can do so by accessing your license area at http://stackideas.com/dashboard

Thanks Nick

I logged in to our web host provider and changed the permissions on it to read/write for the web owner, and it seems to have resolved the problem. I hope that action was correct?

Hi Eoin,

May I know if the issue still persist after your host has made some change with the file permission on your site?

Thanks Ezrul, yes, changing the permissions solved the issue, though I don't know how it arose in the first place.
