Separating registry between EasyDiscuss & EasyBlog

Hi support, good morning.
I was wondering how to segregate/separate registration option between EasyDiscuss and EasyBlog?

I want to enable registration for EasyDiscuss but do not allow for posting for EasyBlog.

Is this possible?

Hey Ayhan,

Sorry but I am not sure if I really understand your question here. Do you mean you want to allow normal registered users to post in EasyDiscuss but not in EasyBlog?

If that is the case, it's pretty simple as you can configure this in the ACL section of EasyBlog. You may allow permissions to compose blog posts by users in a specific user group (You could use author in this case) in Joomla.

Then, for normal registered users group, disallow their permissions to post blog posts.

Not sure how to set user groups etc, but I will figure this out!
