Hello.
1) enable ES and EB integration in backend.
2) enable reaction for EB
3) react for stream item in ES
Result 1: EB post doesn’t get reaction.
4) react for post in EB
Result 2: ES stream item doesn’t get reaction.

I understand that “blogpost” and “stream item” is different things. But users doesn’t understand it.

Users confused why their post get likes in ES stream, but post doesn’t display any likes.

For example if install “Joomla Article ES comment plugin” it will also display “ES-Reaction” button on article itself. So article is more integrated in ES.

Can you please fix or improve it?

One of the way is to display on post “ES’s reaction button” (like for Joomla articles) in blogpost page. If blogpost get reaction it also should be displayed for stream item. And standard EB-reactions can be turned off by admin.

Thanks.
Thanks for your input, we will see if we can do something about this in the future.

Thanks.

I already logged this into our feature tracker, but maybe not the next version as our priority is on some of the key features first.

Hello. Do you plan to add full integration EasyBlog's reactions and comment to EasySocial (in EasyBlog 5.4)? Thanks.
For example if install “Joomla Article ES comment plugin” it will also display “ES-Reaction” button on article itself. So article is more integrated in ES.

As result I still can't decide what kind of comments to use (build in or EasySocial) and should I use EB reactions or not because EasySocial reaction already used in site and people like it. I don't need 2 type of reactions

We haven't plan to add this feature into Easyblog 5.4 yet, but we will consider to add this in Easyblog 5.5.

We probably will follow the similar concept like what we did on the Joomla article page, so the reaction button will appear on the comment form. In other word, you have to enable this Easysocial comment integration from Easyblog.
