Hello,
I'm trying to configure seo url for easyblog
please refer to screenshot attached
1) is it possible to remove entry from url ?
2) is it possible to remove id number from post alias ?

Thank You.
Hello Henry shehadi,

If you do not want that "entry" in your URL, you have to set to "SIMPLE" URL format.
What do you mean that remove id number from post alias? Is it possible provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access as well? Please advise.

Hello,
I'm currently develop site on localhost so can't grant You ftp access. Just started to learn easyblog
So I will be more specific:

now I have default post "Congratulations! You have successfully installed EasyBlog! " that is in "Uncategorized" category
I Have menu item of type "easyblog front" with "blog" alias
I want to achieve the flowing seo url for this post "/blog/2014/Feb/congratulations-you-have-successfully-installed-easyblog"

You can see on screenshot that i sent before with all of my configuration i've done.
But what i get is "/blog/entry/2014/Feb/10/1-congratulations-you-have-successfully-installed-easyblog"

So the question is how to get
"/blog/2014/Feb/congratulations-you-have-successfully-installed-easyblog"

from this

"/blog/entry/2014/Feb/10/1-congratulations-you-have-successfully-installed-easyblog"

Hello henry shehadi,

Sorry for late reply to this,
That great If you are facing some doubt, you can ask us anytime or you can view our Easyblog Documentation the following link :

Regarding with your URL problem :
>> Unfortunately that is not possible to remove the "entry" from your URL, because the Joomla will check what is the exactly entry page and go to correct page, if not the Joomla do not know which is correct page it call. So you have to install the 3rd party component to achieve it like SH404SEF.

Hello Henry,

Yes, you may rename the word "entry" to something else. Just edit the language file in /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easyblog.ini

COM_EASYBLOG_SEF_ENTRY="entry"

Be very careful when changing this as it may mess up your url structure. Unfortunately it's not possible to remove the category id if you are using the date url structure.
