I have an issue with the permalink after the update.

Instead of
domain.com/blogpost

it redirects to
domain.com/component/easyblog/blogpost

I have tried everything, even disabling JA Builder, but it's seems to be quite buggy.

Would like it, if someone over there would take a look at the backend, please.
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

It seems like you provided that backend login credentials no longer work, can you check again?

In meanwhile, can you update your site FTP details at your first post in case we need troubleshoot this issue.

Hey Ulysses,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I have checked your site and it looks like you configured EasyBlog to use the Itemid of 141 but this menu item is not part of EasyBlog. This is why it wasn't able to detect the correct Itemid.

By the way, do you have any menu item that links to EasyBlog? Because I only see 1 menu item which is published on the site which is "Story" but that is linking to the single entry layout.

Hey Mark,
it appears you are looking at the wrong site..
The one you looked at works perfectly..
Actually, have a few sites setup almost the same way; which all work.

The one in question is the one mentioned on the initial ticket.
menu id is 1514

You are right though if i do it the way you mentioned.
Then yes it will work..
I was hoping to get past this since the homepage uses a different template then what I wish for the blogs.
But still remain as;

http://www.domain.com/blogpost

Based on what i checked on your site, it seems like you have set this menu id 1514 into this setting Use Specific MenuId from backend Easyblog SEO setting.

And I realised this menu item id it's not under one of the Easyblog menu type so caused this issue Joomla unable to route the correct SEF URL on the page.

By the way, if you would like to show this post URL format (http://www.domain.com/blogpost), you have to set your Easyblog frontpage menu as default homepage in order to achieve this.
