Hello,
I bought a component (RSSeo) to have a better control of indexing pages, Xmap with Easyblog plugin was complete, but for the rest of my website it was incomplete.
Now that Xmap is no longer installed on my website, I have some difficulty to understand how to set RSSeo because I don't really undserstand how EasyBlog index the pages.

I would like:

1. Prevent that EasyBlog indexes calendar, tags, bloggers, ... where to prevent this, here?

2. Why EasyBlog Most Popular Post module generates a non-optimized address for an article which has a page optimized?
Should I fix this in RSSeo component or there is an option in EasyBlog that allows to do this?

Thank you
Hello Lorenzo,

Hm, not entirely sure about part #1. Can you please elaborate more on what you are trying to achieve here? As for your second issue, can you please provide us with the back end and FTP access to the site to check on this?

Hello,
I'll try to be a little more specific and clear with screenshots.

1. How to set EasyBlog so it will not index some sections of the blog, such as calendar, tags, bloggers.
As you can see in this screenshot, EasyBlog generates URLs for these sections.
How to avoid this -> maybe in the SEO parameters of EasyBlog by disabling the indexing function?

2. With RSSeo component it appears that Easyblog duplicate some informations, it's the case for EasyBlog Most Popular Post modules and for the listing of the categories.
How to avoid this? Should I fix this in RSSeo component (with a canonical url) or there is an option in EasyBlog that allows to do this?

Thank you

PS: Still need a backend and FTP access?

Hello Lorenzo,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

For your question number one, yes you can disabled the indexing from the second screenshot that you have provided.

We cannot tell the exact solution for this unless we check it directly on your site. Perhaps there is some issue with the module itself. If can kindly provide us with Joomla backend and FTP access so we can confirm it and provide you with the proper solution
