Greetings,

I've got a client with an install of EB 5.0.32 at SiteGround which they've only recently moved to. Since moving there, when she publishes a blog post, the frontend displays a 504 Gateway error.

After troubleshooting, I'm finding that this is because the subscriber notifications are set to Send on Page Load. We figured this out because I asked her to try turning that setting to No with her last post and it worked great, no 504 Gateway error.

So, now that we know that, we would like the latest blog post to send a notification to subscribers. She went into the post and set the setting to send notifications to subscribers to Yes and Saved it but alas, no mail goes to the subscribers.

Is there a way to get the post to send to subscribers after it is initially published? Or will it only send to subscribers on the initial posting?

This is the next step in the testing to see if sending to subscribers after the initial post throws a 504 Gateway error or not. If it does, I have to set up a CRON. If it doesn't, then we're good.

So, can we send a notification to subscribers now that the post is already posted?

Forgive delays, I'm about to have a couple of days off and I reckon it will be weekend for you soon too.

Best,
Jenn
hey Jennifer,

If you already setup cronjob in your site, you have to disable this option "Send email on Page Load" from backend, so it will help your site performance issue.

Yes, once your post is published, the system will only send out the notification to your site subscriber.

If your blog already published and need to notify with your site subscriber again, you can go to your backend > Easyblog > post > click notify button from the post, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.

Hope this help.
