Hi

Yesterday was the the big, unexpected, launch for our Easysocial, due to local confinement. It was used before, but not with that many people.

We mainly use the groups system. Unfortunately we have a problem with the free app: when we want to post a new message in a group, we have a “Send error” message when we touch the "Share" button, and we can’t send anything. We have the same problem on our wall, and the app doesn’t recognize our "friends" so we can’t send any private message with it ("You are not allowed to send message to non friends users").

We don’t have any problem:

  • sending a new post in a group in the Internet browser (and no other problem in the Internet browser),
  • commenting a first post in the free app (as well as in the Internet browser).


Thus the problem seems only to arise when we post a new post in a group with the free app (and also in other part of the app, as on our wall, private messages, ...). We have this problem on the Android and Apple app, on different accounts.

Could you help us with this problem?

Hello Mizaël,

We have checked our Public App and seems like the app is outdated for both Android and iOS. We will published the updated version as soon as possible.

Please keep me in touch with the announcement of the new app, as we will deploy it as soon as possible. Confinement is harsh and people needs to communicate...

After further debugging, we have found that the issue of unable to post in group is causing by this: https://take.ms/t2rNp . I tried to enter https for the url and the posting in group working just fine: https://take.ms/CaY9N . Can you give it a try?
