I've just been reading a very interesting blog about UX, and there were some great ideas about persuasion. One of the things that caught my eye was a point about keeping the persuasion going after the call to action.

In my case, I'm wanting new people to sign up on my site to post an application to join our online game.

What would be neat is that after a new user registers, EasySocial then sends out an automated welcome email, highlighting the cool stuff now available to the new member, (taking part in our community, and don't forget to post in our forum to apply to join the game server proper). That kind of thing.

Is this something that can be done already, or maybe be considered as a future addition?
Hello Steve,

Sounds like a nice addition! Ideally, the workflow for EasySocial should be as of the following:

1. Submit to http://stackideas.com/voices for the community to vote
2. The product owner (StackIdeas) , reviews these feature requests and assign them into the milestone accordingly (1.2,1.3,1.4 etc)
3. When a task is accepted, it automatically logs an entry on our issue tracker so that our developers could begin working on them.

Anyway, as of now, I am adding this to the feature request for 1.3
