Hi Stackideas Team

I am testing the Hika App.

I have it showing in the stream when I log in as my front end admin please see Additional Information below.

http://www.finalbug.net/network-final-cut-pro-post-production-professionals

When I click on “Hika Shop” in the stream the first

Item is select “Product Category”

I can not select a “Product Category” do you have any ideas why?

I have the following Hika Shop Categories set up:

Post Training
and inside this
FCPX
Da Vinci

As far as I can tell any ES products I create are put in the root Hika Shop Category “Product Category”

Please advise

thanks

Paul

PS I can put the products in categories afterwards by changing the categories in the back end.

Then they show up here (for admins only:

http://www.finalbug.net/groups-learn-post-production-socially-fcpx-and-more/products-hshop

I would love to know if this is a bug or user error

FYI:

-- HikaShop "Starter" version -- : 3.0.0
-- HikaMarket version -- : 1.7.3
Hi Paul,

I have consulted this with our developer and it seems that current hikashop app will only list its parent category, and the category type must be 'product' as you can see here https://screencast.com/t/XhQqDEJC03x. Please advice

Hi Warith

Can you kindly tell your developer in the nicest possible way that this should maybe/really be part of the “core” functionality of the App. Further could you please tell him, pretty please from me with bells and whistles on it if he could look into the putting people into Groups/Pages/Events functionality on purchase that would be truly amazing!

all the best

Paul

I have purchased EasySocials HikaShop app as well. It's reasonable to see that a multi-user site running EasySocial would be running a multi-vendor HikaShop, and that the app should allow each vendor to place products in the area of their own configuration, don't you think? But it's definately an awesome start in the right direction!

HikaShop supports a workflow to add purchasers to Joomla groups and Nicolas from HikaShop said he'd work with Stack Ideas to come up with a solution (via your existing app or other) to support adding purchasers to EasySocial Groups or Events. Can this happen yesterday but seriously I'm hoping there can be movement toward this feature.

For others also interested in allowing your EasySocial users to sell access to their created Events and Groups please show support for the feature here, THANK YOU!
