1. SEF urls with ARTIO JoomSEF :
Firstly I tried to install the plugin and I get an installation error in Joomla: 0 JPath::clean: $path is not a string.
However I m not sure if the plugin is actually needed as there are already SEF urls, either choosing JoomSEF handler or JoomSEF rewriting or Joomla default.
What I need however is to have the word "blog" in my urls, for all the pages that are located under the blog. At the moment it creates urls like http://www.site.com/easyblog/entries/tags or like http://www.site.com/entries/tags.
Hello John,

You should just choose JoomSEF handler It should still work. The reason why it uses "easyblog" is actually because one of your menu has the alias of "easyblog". All you need to do now is to edit the menu and change the "easyblog" alias to "blog"

yes this is it... silly me sometimes I am loosing the obvious.
I already managed this - thanks for the reply.

I am almost complete with the setup of the blog and ready to go live - my only issue at the moment is that the signout link on the tooldbar (not the dashboard toolbar) is not signing out.

Hello John,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Mark I just noticed one more thing.

Although I set the Joomla User Registrations to off, the Easy Blog Login Screen gives the option for "Create Account", which I don't want.
Is there any setting to remove this ?
Thanks

** I just noticed that this posted under misc category instead of Easyblog.
One more issue is that the Post preview button doesn't work.

Hello John,

I've removed the Create an account link. As for the Post preview button and sign out link, I've tried to login to your site but I got this : Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet. . Please advise.

Hello John,

I've checked your site and seems like you are using JoomSEF basic rewriting. I've changed to JoomSEF handler. But you need to purge the URLs in order to see the changes. Please advise. For the preview button, did you mean this button? http://screencast.com/t/3b4bGbEAB ? Because I clicked it and it seems to work just fine.

Hello thanks for everything so far - I truly enjoy the level of support.
I will do the thing with the urls in joomsef.
For the preview button, I mean the one that is the Post Editing Layout. (see attachment.)

Hello John,

Thanks for the compliment. I checked the button and its working: http://screencast.com/t/sn7FX1NL24HL . You might want to disable your pop-up blocker and see how it goes.

Hi there,
Probably, I was hurry to say that my issues were resolved as I realized that there is still issue with the SEF urls.
With the default JoomSEF handler, there is no URL creation in JoomSEF.
In JoomSEF manage extensions - although I choose this handler when saving it actually displays Component's Default Router and it still shows the component under the list with the components that do not have a JoomSEF extension installed.
Furthermore I don't see any way to create urls that will include the title of the post instead of the entry numbering naming ( e.g. blog/entry/1 ).
I tried again to install the JoomSEF plugin but no success. Is this plugin appropriate for Joomla 3.2 ?
Can you advise please ?

Hello John,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Did you install this through JoomSEF's installer? You need to install the plugin via JoomSEF instead of the Extensions Manager in Joomla.

However, if I recall correctly, JoomSEF actually provides their customer with a custom EasyBlog extension.
