Hi,

I am discovering SectionEX on Joomla! 3.2.1: seems to works fine for listing my contents but as soon I activate URL Rewriting, I get that that error "500 - View not found [name, type, prefix]: article, html, sectionexView" (URL: "/?view=article&catid=13:questions-diverses&id=20:forcer-ladresse-avec-qwwwq" no rewriting?) .
Same problem with only SEF URLs and URL: "/index.php?view=article&catid=13:questions-diverses&id=20:forcer-ladresse-avec-qwwwq"

How can I use SEF and URL rewriting?
Thanks for answer.
Robert
Hello Robert,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Hello Robert,

It looks like Joomla 2.5 onwards has a massive change on the way URLs are being generated. I have updated this for you and it should work fine now

I am having the exact same issue with SEF when is enabled. I can't understand from the above answer what exactly should be updated. Can you please clarify?

Thanks!

Hey Dora,

Thanks for getting back to us, it would be best if you can start a new thread and provide us with your Joomla backend, FTP access so we can better have a check?

Also can you elaborate more details what is your current SEF issue on your site?

As a gentle reminder, I will lock and mark this thread as resolved, since this thread already posted very long time ago.
