Hello,

After navigating to the category section, links are being adding another category folder.
I.E. http://www.financeglobe.com/blog/categories
points to
http://www.financeglobe.com/blog/categories/categories/banking

This is causing page numbers to become corrupted. Please let me know what I am doing wrong.

Thank you
hi Michael Yanda,

Sorry for late reply to this,
I've checked in your site, the reason why you hitting this pagination link issues is because one of the menu item "EasyBlog » Categories Layout (All categories)" alias name you set to use `categories`, so it conflict with the `view=categories` name from the non-SEF url.

When I trying to modify the alias name, then i hitting this :

1044 Access denied for user 'financeg_jos'@'localhost' to database 'financeg_joom_mo' SQL=LOCK TABLES `jfg_menu` WRITE

It seems like you provided your PHPMYADMIN restrict the user(financeg_jos'@'localhos) permission so can't edit the name. Can you consult with your webhosting provider regarding this permission issues?

Thank you for the direction. I modified the privileges for SQL and changed the menu type which fixed most of the issues.

However, when viewing for example http://www.financeglobe.com/blog/latest-blogs the toolbar will link to http://www.financeglobe.com/blog/latest-blogs/categories instead of the menu item http://www.financeglobe.com/blog/categories

The category is not a sub-menu type of latest-blogs which now makes no sense to me.

Thanks again!

Hi Michael Yanda ,

I'm really sorry that delayed of this reply,

it seems like you changed your previous menu type item from "EasyBlog » Categories Layout (All categories)" to EasyBlog » Simple categories layout then causing this URL is not show properly.

In my suggestion, you should change back to this menu type item EasyBlog » Categories Layout (All categories) then rename the alias then it should fix your previous pagination issues and it will show out you expected URL format.

Thanks for the input. I think that simple categories reduces the folder levels the best.
